MCO wins a bid to construct grain silos and ancillary facilities in Jazan
The Grain Silos & Flour Mill Organization awarded Almuhaidib Contracting Company the contract to construct a grain silo and ancillary facilities in the southern port city of Jazan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project includes the design, procurement and physical construction of the silos according to the highest international standards and with a capacity of 120,000 Tons of storage.
The project shall be concluded by a Joint Venture comprising of the Saudi Contractor Almuhaidib Contracting Company with the Belgian contractors (BESIX) through their GCC subsidiary Six Construct. The Joint Venture decided to hire the services of one of the best engineering and grain silo equipment integrator in the world, the Canadian SNC-Lavalin as a design subcontractor.
